We currently have a vacancy for a Part-time Course Development Pharmacist

The role will involve writing and developing resources for teaching and learning, across a range of courses for registered and unregistered pharmacy staff. Prior experience of writing training materials or educational articles is essential. Prior experience of e-learning development is desirable.

The role will be predominately home based with a requirement to attend our office in Nottingham when required for meetings or training, usually once or twice a month.

This role may be carried out along side another part-time role providing there is no conflict of interest.

The successful candidate will have:

  • GPhc registration
  • Current or recent experience in NHS secondary care
  • Strong writing, proof reading and editing skills
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to summarise information
  • Good knowledge of Word document editing
  • A creative approach to teaching
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Organised, self motivated and able to meet deadlines

Salary within NHS band 6 or 7 depending upon skills and experience.

    As part of our Teaching, Learning and Assessment Team, you will support our learners as part of their NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Pharmacy Service Skills qualifications.

    You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be IT competent.

    Candidates must have Maths and English at Grade C or above, or be prepared to work towards these during the training period.

    We are based in Nottingham City Centre but will offer a combination of home working and office visits after an initial period of training. There are both full or part-time opportunities are available.
